HAF Accepting Applications for Fulltime Associate Director

HAF is seeking applications from energetic and highly motivated individuals for its fulltime Associate Director position. The Associate Director will serve the region in which the selected applicant is currently residing. The Associate Director position will involve working with HAF's staff and volunteers in handling ongoing HAF projects, membership and fundraising, strategic networking and local public relations as well as local chapter development.

HAF Successfully Opposes Belisle Nomination to CA SBE

Sacramento, CA (February 17, 2010) - The Senate Rules Committee hearing scheduled for February 24, 2010, regarding confirmation of State Board of Education (SBE) appointees, was officially canceled today. As a result, Ms. Raneene "Rae" Belisle's term to the SBE will officially expire March 11, 2010.
